This is Paradise! Waterfalls hide the cavern´s entrance and produce a haven for bathers who relax in it´s surrounding pools. The pools in the cavern resemble a natural jacuzzi inside an enormous vapor bath. Simply paradise!
The thermal waters in the cavern are feed from an underground spring at temperatures of 95-100 degress Farenheit. The warm currents of moisture have formed stalactites & stalagmites, calcium-rich geologic structures, for thousands of years. You can witness the birth of the Tolantongo River here at this point where both the waterfall & the underground stream join together.
